Chuck Norris to have bridge named after him in Slovakia following vote

The bridge, which crosses the Morova river into Austria, looks set to be known as the Chuck Norris Bridge with the film star currently having 74 per cent of the vote.

As it stands, 1,157 votes have been cast in favour of Norris, largely because of his 'kitsch' popularity among Slovaks. His name is often the punchline in jokes relating to macho strength.

The final decision will be made by the regional assembly but officials have said that the internet ballot's decision will be respected.

Regional governor Pavol Freso, said: 'The same way as we have so far been building it in full sight of the public, we will seek that the name is accepted by the public as well.'

Also in contention for the name of the bridge are former Austro-Hungarian empress Maria Thereas, who currently has eight per cent of the vote in second place.

Another contender is a small village close to the bridge, Devinska.

Norris is a martial arts expert and famous film star who has, throughout his career, built a reputation for playing tough guy characters in movies including Lone Wolf McQuade, Missing in Action and The Delta Force

Craig Sager has the best suits ever made. All of them.

Just in case you're late to the party: NBA on TNT sideline reporter Craig Sager wears a ridiculous suit every time he covers a game. It's his signature, and it's always fantastic. Knowing full well that the game between the Miami Heat and New York Knicks on Thursday night would have more viewers than the average game, Sager brought his top suit game. A photo can be found after the jump.
The contrasting colors will make the artist in your family cringe, but the cool people in your family will laugh. The pocket square that has nothing at all to do with the rest of the suit is absolutely the best part of this, though the lime green jacket compliments his skin tone beautifully.
Meanwhile, in actual basketball news, the Heat are playing basketball very quickly. Dwyane Wade missed a dunk and has an offensive foul, but at least Miami is trying to play very fast.
